5 Generations of Continuous Operation

Grainland has its origins from a family farm operation dating back to 1907 when Joseph Crozon Sr. emigrated to Saskatchewan from France with his wife and 6 children. This early pioneer literally carved a farm from the poplar trees native to the area. The farm continued to his son Joseph Jr., then Marc, then to Dean, and currently Kelly; making 5 generations of continuous operation. In the mid 90’s, a seed cleaning facility was built, and the farm focus was turned from growing crops to delivering in bulk, cleaning, blending and packaging seed for retail sale. This brings us to present day where Grainland Incorporated specializes in birdseed.
